    Hey all,

Thank you from very informative forum, ive been reading it for hours and gathered lots of valuable information from here.

Got brand new GS delivered straight to home december of 2023 and drove it 3m/10foot in to my garage.
So why i havent driven it more? Well, i live in northern Finland and we have thing called real winter here.
It has been actually very cold lately, Last few weeks between -20C to -35C witch is -4F to -26F.

I come from custom side of motorcycles. Last bike was Suzuki M1800R and still have wifeys ole Yahama dragstar bobber in garage too.

Cant wait for a summer, typically we have snow until april and driving season starts early may.

The bike has all the factory options available.
Trophy models also got center stand, touring windscreen, navcradle above screen, adventure pegs and ///M Endurance chain installed from factory.

Few little things done by me so far. Took navcradle away and bolted my quadlock mount with vibration dampener to its place. Used quadlocks mirror clamp for that. Then i installed Ctek charger cable straight to battery. Makes battery charging so much easier when connect cable is right beside seat. No need to take seat out, just plug in and its all set. Crashbars are from kappa/givi and they were installed by dealer for me.

Time will tell what else happens before summer, i really hope i will enjoy my new bike when i get to ride it 😃

At -23C that must be the coolest looking bike on the forum :190:. That's serious winter indeed. I have an electrical heated vest and gloves powered through the battery for Dutch winters but I doubt it will withstand those temperatures.

    Thanks guys!

    Teeriks,

ive been thinking of heated gear. Would be easy to use em now with electric outlet ready beside seat. Spring and autumn would be so much warmer to drive.

I have the Gerbing jacket and gloves. Should have bought that way earlier. Such a treat! The powercable is connected directly to the battery and fits very neatly under the seat.
