Col del Sommeiller is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 3.000 m above the sea level between the Italian and French border.

Wow, pretty awesome! Is there no through road? Meaning, does one go up, only to turn back?

Hello, you can't drive over the top, you have to go back down the same way. There are many unpaved mountain passes between the border of Italy and France. Watch a video of me about Col de Tende here.
