You say that Zemago and it does the usual spike in me OMG what happens if that happens to me the sky is going to fall in..... and itís the same with every bike I have owned. You get a bike and start to hear these stories about various problems and worry yet for the most part itís other peopleís problems. You hope you donít end up being one of the other people and for the most part you arenít. I guess forums have an attraction and are the natural place to share the issues. Makes me wonder what the ratio is for issue it 1000 bikes sold? 

Had my battery out of the bike and on the bench for a month wasnít a problem. I donít remember resetting the time but must have so that must not have been a problem either. Just disconnect as the manual says.
Batteries fail, go flat get old all the time nothing new there.

Revving for 1-2 seconds with out going anywhere?  Thatís a lot of motor revolutions that arenít being transferred through to the output sprocket. Sounds like a clutch to me.

Is there any chance you are over revving and the rev limiter is coming in.

I think I have noticed on the rare occasion the red flashing at about the same time as Iím shifting. I presume if I didnít change to the next gear the rev limiter would come in and stop the motor from revving any higher

Ok I have no clue as to if that is normal as I have a 750 so will just put my thoughts out there 

Does it bottom out ďchinkĒ If not then itís normalish
The side wall profile of the tyre looks low which will transfer more energy to the forks.
That sudden stop will do that to a degree you just have to know what is normal for that model if the movement seems excessive to you. Hop on another 850 and hold the front brake on and bounce it up and down and compare.

First one of those I have seen, would be really interesting to monitor a bike with It. I always have a good look at any part to see how itís wearing as it tells so much this fuel report is grate. The people doing the report could speculate on why there is a little extra fuel in your oil. With out there guidance I would say get out there and run it in harder. Put the motor under full load and shift just before the red line over and over the time to be gentle has passed. If you canít do that then at least full load over and over. As they say ride it like you stole it. When thatís done have another look.
To a degree you get the motor you make.

Thinking about it a bit more they are probably wired up to your reverse lights as the trigger to turn on and off so that should be easy enough to to fix just constant power.
When you have set this all up I would like a look if possible out of interest.

wachuko if you ever go on that jury with a Ural and are showing then Iíd like to see you fix the bike.
