Great mods!!  I have a few of those already... but now I am itching to get those BMW adjustable footpegs and front fender extension...

Thank you.  So these are to avoid dirt/grime/water to sit there.  Got it.

My bike is not parked in my garage right now and I was looking at my photos trying to figure out where these went.  All clear now.

Photos?  Trying to figure out what are you trying to cover...  and why? aesthetics? to avoid mud/dirt in there?

I agree.. decided not to pursue this path with the 850...

If I still want a sidecar setup next year, I will just look at test riding an Ural...  All is good, pardon the moment of insanity....

Finally able to see the GPS/Nav while riding with the tank bag. :152:  I got used to having the tank bag in place, so it is more of a permanent fixture now.  That GIVI bracket, to relocate the NAV, was a complete success.

I need to take my current ride out on a trip to clear my head and forget about getting an Ural  :745:  ...  but I have to say, they do look cool.

I need to at least take one for a test ride...

It is in German, but at the top right one can change the language to english.

:062: That had to be an epic journey.  Looking forward to the release of the film.   :152:

You know about the reliability of Ural?
There is a film recently come out about five Germans who went by ural bikes and side cars from Germany right across Russia, then over through the USA to New York. The subtitle of the film is 782 breakdowns. No joke!

Need to look for that film.

I just joined the Ural forum to read on reliability and user experience...

I am not afraid on working on my bikes... and the stuff that I see is not critical stuff going bad... but again, I just started researching.

I have not decided on going with an Ural, just reading/researching for now... might be better to get a Harley Sportster and find a used sidecar to attach to it...  more reliable and less expensive.
