Three of us are leaving this morning from Florida going the MOA Rally.  Going to take 10 days to get there.  No set plan or route just taking it one day at a time.  So many sights to see and great roads to ride.  Hope to see you there...  Be safe.   :305:

Thanks for getting that clarification BMW Motorrad.  Since the F850GS is an "adventure bike" it is smart for BMW to design the engine to use lower octane "regular" fuel.  You can not always guarantee availability of higher octane gasoline in remote areas.  I have a 2019 F850GS it has used nothing but "regular" gasoline since the bike was new and no issues after 10,000 miles.

Nice work, very professional looking.  Where did you get the warp material?  Thanks for sharing.

:400:  Off-road training can be fun.  BMW has training in South Carolina.  I attended that training and it was great learning how to handle a big bike off-road.

Another option is Raw Hyde Adventures.  Fully sponsored by BMW.  Training in California and Colorado.

Good luck.

doebag..... I assume you are speaking of the brake fluid flush.  You are 100% correct.  I just check my service schedule (North America) and it states a brake fluid flush required the first time after one year, then every two years. It is not a mileage related item, but an age one.  So the UK and US are the same.  Thanks.    :028:

Wyn.....Took my 2019 F850GS to Jacksonville, Florida BMW dealer for the 6K mile service this past July.  It was the 6K service plus a brake fluid flush.  The dealer said a brake fluid flush was required due to the bike being almost 2 years old.   :211:  Total cost $391.   :005:  Ridiculous!!   :232:

Now I am scared what the 12K mile service will be.    :157:
