The Regina "low maintenance" chain is available for the F750 and F 850- see here
As far as I understand, the chain rollers are provided with a coated surface which supposedly obviates the need for lubrication, but not re-tensioning, so it is not completely maintenance free.
The chain is gold-coloured and the price is equally majestic.

Thanks for confirming that a "low maintenance" (no need to lube chain) is a available. IMO, if a person cant stand cleaning/ oiling their chain, then this is the way to go, however it isn't cheap. As for me (I don't do any off-roading/ trails), therefore about every 1000 miles I'll do a simple chain cleaning, wipe it down "very lightly" with 80/ 90 weight gear oil and call it a day. BTW, this may not be the best solution/ optimum way to clean & oil a chain, but it works for me. YMMV, and also have a better way to perform this maintenance!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't REGINA now make a maintenance free chain? If so why the need for a chain oiler?

Hello, welcome to the Forum. Like you, I bought the 750 for the same reasons. Previous BMW's I've had were various R's, R/GS and S1000XR. I've found that the 750 is "for me" an overall very, very good do-it-all, middle weight motorcycle and I'm glad that I purchased it. Only thing I miss a bit (but its not a deal breaker and I've adjusted my riding to it), is it that it has no front telelever/ electronic suspension.

It would be good to hear your A/ B comparison/ thoughts between your RT and the 750.

All the best - Mike

I wish BMW could make the quick-shifter on the 750/ 850 as seamless & smooth "at any RPM range, both up and down" as it was on my previous S1000XR (I'd be a happy camper). My experience with the quick-shifter on my 750 is, 1st-3rd gear is clunky (unless under hard acceleration), 4th-6th gear works "very good" (not perfect) in any RPM range. Down-shifting from 6th to 1st works very close to "perfect" in any RPM range.

BTW... these are the mounting points where the WRS fits

If your windscreen bracket looks like this one (which is for the 850) it will work. However, if you have the factory adjustable windscreen set-up, the mounting holes may be different?!?
