just bought a F850GS and feel kind of happy.

Now I am on the way to get the first inspection in time to travel without any scheduling through the coming summer.

Just bought a 5 month old GSA TE - just love the comfort and all the tech. It's big but manageable. I have the Rallye seat on to give my old knees as much room as possible ! - Have just found out that it is a mission to clean - so many nooks and crannies !

Hi I am looking for low seat for my bike (F850 2021) . I would like to swap seats and have 2 standard seats available (red or grey insert) . Both seats are in as new condition. (5000 & 10000 kms) Happy to pay freight both way in Australia . I am in Brisbane .

In my 2023 F850GS manual, where the alarm is mentioned it has an annotation of "-OE".  OE is noted anywhere that the manual is talking about something that is "Optional Equipment".  Just saying that the manual can speak to it while the bike does not have that option. 

(There are also other annotations of "-OA" which are for "Optional Accessory").

On the TFT screen, if the menu in the Settings > Vehicle Settings doesn't have the alarm, the bike isn't equipped with factory one.  Again, this is on the 2023 F850GS - your year and model may vary.

When recording noises it is best to do it out in the open as being in a garage or near a building/wall, etc. you get an echo which makes it sound worse that it actually is.

Hi, my bike (Brand new 50 miles on clock) sounds even louder than yours, listen at 0:50, its normal they all do it, ticking noise! My last 850gs was just the same.

Something is amiss there could be the rockers or a Timing Chain tensioner issue. I would get the bike to the dealer and let them sort it.

Well, I am literally searching all over the internet and I've watched most of the youtube videos for F 850 GS and they sound just like that. I am not sure, maybe I'm going crazy  :087:
