Ride NC 500 Nov 2020

Bored and nothing to do I looked at the weather map for the Highlands and the route NC500 picked my dates and went:

Peterborough to Inverness about 480 Miles - Over night Travel lodge
Inverness to Lochinver - Overnight B&B - About 230 Miles
Lockinver to Inverness - Over night Travel lodge - About 270 Miles
Inverness to Peterborough - Left at 08:00 filled up at Perth then Scotch Corner - arrived home at 16:30

During the whole trip I saw one other bike 1250 GS two up
Roads were clear
Roads were dry
Look out for gravel on the corners / leaf's / look at your sat nav ref tightness of bends / some blind hills / ride to conditions
Saw no police
Petrol is not an issue
Sat Nav 6  worked fine for the whole trip

Brave man - NC500 in November- Brrr! Bet you didn't suffer too many hold-ups with the tourists! Pictures look great.

KEEFCAMBS - Agree that NC500 is a great road trip with gorgeous scenery - especially as you ride westward. Did you stay at Torguish House B&B in Inverness by any chance? Recommended!

No I stayed at the Travelodge right beside the main in / out going road - load of food places around there as well.

If I was to do it again I would do
Inverness A9
A836 Bonar Bridge
Lairg
A838 - Laxford Bridge - and then down the LHS

Over night stop at Tarradh Rooms at Lochinver - Colin the guy who runs it understands bikers
