I want to get a top box for my F750 but one is not listed, does anyone know what other BMW uses the same rack plate for mounting a top box?

thanks

As the bike shares a common frame with the 850 and the same rear optional luggage carrier, the vario luggage from a water cooled 1200GS should fit, if you are determined to stick with BMW luggage.

The announcement has been made by Givi for an aluminium rear luggage plate to fit the 750/850 GS range that will carry any mono lock top box you choose to fit.

Sadly the summer break has meant the company couldn't be arsed to make any, therefore arrival of the product will be delayed.
If it aint broke, keep fixing it until it is!

Hi, I think the part no. for the Givi adaptor is SRA 5127 but as you say I can't get one.
I had a quote from my dealer of just over £400 for the top box, was hoping to do a cross match to find a Givi plate that would fit but no luck.
I already have a nice givi box from my last bike.

If you can wait a few weeks, my contact at Givi states expected arrival date for the SRA5127 is 2 to 3 weeks, the same for the corresponding pannier racks.

I'm in a similar situation, having a full set of Gvi Trecker luggage, awaiting the arrival of mounting hardware.

With a delivery date for my bike as 24/09, the two products should hopefully be arriving similar time. Crosses fingers.

I'm going to wait then, thanks for the update,
I have had the F750 for about 4 week now and I'm going to France for 2 days this week so too late now anyway..
I will change the tyres from the Anakee 3 as soon as I can as I cant stand the howling noise at 50ish, apart from that its just a great all round bike and I'm very happy with it.

Had our locations been closer, I'd have tried fitting your bike with a universal monokey plate I have in the garage.

Not stylish but might have allowed you to continue your journey with your top box straight away.

You should be able to source one from any Givi stockist.

If you have the standard F750 GS luggage rack and a Givi monokey bag, you can make an adaptor plate with Givi kit number E115F for about $26.95US from Amazon. This includes two "mushrooms" and screws along with the "wedge" and it's two screws.  I'm mounting  these on a 1/8 inch thick aluminum plate and will cut it to size to fit the luggage rack. I'm going to remove the plastic from the stock rack. I just thought I'd put in there is a Givi adaptor kit out there.

There is Givi mounting kit for the 750/850 plastic rear rack/grabrail. SR5129. The mountings don't rely on anything mounted to the plastic rack, it bolts to the rear subframe.

My bike came with a BMW steel top box carrier. To fit a BMW top box I was told I needed to buy an additional mounting kit and a new top box.
This is not correct, I kept my old F800 box and mounting plate, by drilling a few extra holes I was able to bolt this to carrier, I now have a vario top box which operates with the F750 key.
I very rarely take the top box off, I was considering  bolting the top box directly onto the carrier.

The top box from my 2015 r1200r fit on my 750gs.  Not cheap unless you find a used one. By the way my dealer said it wouldn’t fit. It needed a little help by tapering the back with a file so it would slide on. About 30 seconds to complete. Good fit and I like the look.
