Darranna, I choose the Wunderlich in conjunction with the original BMW adjustable windscreen base. It provides 2 inches of height increment. Normally I keep this setup for long trips.
For my everyday commute I switch back to my Touratech windscreen!
It works for me when I ride using my Schubert helmet. Despite of the weight is so far the most  silent and less turbulent helmet on the market .

Yeap, this is the support that I've installed. Direct installation and all you need is to replace the original bolts for longer bolts.
The black box installed between the windscreen and the support is an IU unit for cash card!

Can you post a picture of your fitted screen, all the Madstads Iíve seen are not the best looking (Iím being kind here) 😉 and do you know your torso length?

No "Tall" screen is going to enhance the look of your bike over the original. I decided to go for something that in the comments/opinions of others would resolve the issues I was experiencing with the standard screen. I have to say that I have not been dissapointed in my choice. I can now ride without ear-plugs and visor up at road legal speeds in reasonable comfort. The Schuberth C4 also helps! My only gripe with the Madstad is the adjustment is not easily accessable when coupled with the Touratech GPS Holder. My Torso is 19-20" by the way.

I am still using the standard screen mainly because I have experienced the helmet buffeting from taller screens on a previous bike which I donít get with the standard screen. I would prefer more protection from the wind and weather, but donít want to spend a lot of money on a new screen only to find that I have now created helmet buffet.
