3rd Party Alternative Suspensions
« on: June 10, 2020, 03:36:52 PM »
Hello great F850 GS worshippers world wide.

I would like to suggest that we all in this topic make a long list of known 3rd Party suspension manufactors for the BMW F850GS/GSA. I know the Touratech.com has some. But are there others? Anyone know some, please post links.
3rd Party Suspension kits for/without Dynamic ESA.
Information on both Front and Rear suspension would be appreciated.
(I am not talking about "lowering kits", but better/stronger suspensions for off-road than standard suspensions).

Peace and Love
Sim

Lets focus this thread on what we do know for certain, not hypotheticals or blindly listing stuff. Otherwise this thread is not useful.

What I know so far:

Tractive: Tractive is likely the supplier for TT suspension kits on the 850. Tractive supplies replacements for the rear.

Ohlins:  Doesn't make or list a compatible suspension that i'm aware of for the 850. A generic might be possible with a custom fit.

TFX: Doesn't explicitly list the 850 as being supported but a generic fit from them may work (I don't know).

Wilburs: So far, hasn't made a W-ESA version for the 850, Ted porters site doesn't mention any support for the 850 (yet). Wilburs doesn't mention any support for it either.

YSS: May have a generic fitting solution, not sure.

Ikonsuspension: Doesn't support the 850 or any recent bmw build for that matter.

Yacugar: Doesn't support the 850 at this time.

Adreani Group: Makes adjustable front fork kits for the 850.
TT: Offers suspension kits for the 850

I used progressive front springs by Hyperpro on my previous bike (700gs). Worked great, slightly harder than stock.
