Photos from the ride outs !
« on: May 23, 2020, 12:42:56 AM »
I am starting a new topic in which you can insert photos from close and far trips on our motorbikes. Inserting a picture, please write where it was taken so that others could virtually explore the world  :002:

My first photo is from Bobrowniki Village near Toruń in Poland. In the background you can see the ruins of the Teutonic Knights castle.

Hey hey! Do you make some photos during motorcycle trips? Put in some interesting photos from your surroundings visited on a motorcycle  :018:

Below I publish another photo. Currently, there are many blooming rapeseed fields in Poland. It looks very nice as a background for taking motorcycle photos  :001:

Sorry but we do not have anything as old or spectacular here in the states... our architecture only dates back 200 to 300 years...

I don't know where we are... but I have been lost here before...

Below I put two photos taken today in my city. Toruń is a very nice city with a lot of monuments. If you ever visit Poland, it is worth coming to Toruń. The famous astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus was also born here. It is said that he is a man who "stopped the sun and moved the earth".

A quick ride to shops at a nearby town, I stopped on route home. Sawley Abbey dating from 1147.

In  fairness, it could stand a little restoration to become habitable again!

Then back home.

Ok, I admit, not home.
This is the nearby Gisburne Park. Built in 1727 for the then Lord Ribblesdale. Now housing a private hospital.
If it aint broke, keep fixing it until it is!

We are on a multi day ride we left our home in Southern New Jersey on Wednesday and are now at our base for exploration for the next few days before heading home...
Click the red dots on the route map to open photos for that location. Those of you in the US can download the route to ride if you like.
