On the ferry to Bruny Island



We were supposed to go along Cloudy Bay beach but it was raining to much and the river was up



Waiting for some to catch up. The track was closed in centre was mostly moss and the only grip was along the tyre ruts where the water was running not ideal for road tyres

There is a group in Australia called Ulysses which is comprised of older (over 40yo+)  bike riders. The mid week ride in this city meets in the morning to decide where we are riding for the day



South port for morning tea which is about lunch time



Then it’s down to Dover on a loop road which is about the end of the road for the bottom of this island.



Looking out that way straight ahead is New Zealand few thousand k’s and turn right is Antartica.



On the way down to Dover I saw a road to a beach I have heard of but never visited so turned off and never cought up with the group which is my fault as I didn’t listen to where they were having lunch.
All good it means I could explore more roads i have never been down.

Had a nice ride out to the Motorist Blue Train café Sherburn in Elmet, now fully open following the lockdown. An alternative to Squires.

Saw a nice 400/4 that was up for sale there

An end-of-summer rideout to the beach at Bridlington before heading up the east coast to enjoy a day out riding around the picturesque North Yorkshire Moors. It wasn't the warmest of days, but I'd wrapped up snug but enjoyed every minute 😎

Great pictures Tioli. I'm headed to Tassie in January for a two weeks of touring, covid permitting.

If your not in a rush 2 weeks is plenty of time. There’s a lot to see and the roads aren’t straight.
