Been  super busy and distracted with the virus stuff so haven't done anything yet. I think I'll play with oil weight and maybe even new springs before I spend big bucks on an unknown cure.

Interested to hear whether any of the things you tried (assuming you did) made any difference.

Iím thinking of going straight for the TT fork cartridge...

I have not done this myself, but its on my list for future consideration. I saw another owners report on the upgrade and his impressions were very positive. He went with the identical set up in the original branding from The Beemer shop for less money. https://www.beemershop.com/Merchant5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=35BM19-D5303

I have installed the TT fork cartridge on my 2019 F850GSA.  This bike typically has 30 to 40 lbs of luggage and I am 6'4" 2020 lbs.  I live in SW Idaho, near Boise and have the opportunity to ride forest service and logging roads out my back door.  The Idaho BDR passes by about 30 miles east of me.  The bikes front end was a bit soft for my liking off the show room floor but worked well on the roads I like as long as I was gentle on my brakes.  When I needed new fork seals, it seemed like a good time to consider the TT upgrade.  I purchased it from the Beemer shop and had the local dealer install it.  The money I saved at the beemer shop paid for the installation.

Riding:  this cartridge is fully adjustable and the Beemer shop set it up with the right spring for my weight, so I have for the time being left it as it came out of the box.  It has made the bike a bit stiffer riding washboard, but also has made fork motion much more predictable and controlled. Riding through pot holes, ruts and rocks the bike feels more planted and controlled.  Stopping:  Hit the brakes hard, the nose doesn't dive and you stop almost level.

I feel that BMW on their premium package should have the TT cartridge as standard equipment on the F850's

I am considering getting the TT cartridge also, did the dealer have the springs for the heavier weight?  I am also 200+

I highly recommend you order it from the Beemer Shop https://www.beemershop.com/.  They will configure it to your weight and riding style.  I got mine within a week of ordering it.  I had it installed as I needed new seals for my forks anyway and new brake pads due to the fork oil that had gotten on them.  I have about 600 miles on the upgraded front end and so far are very happy with the results.  I have not messed with adjustments yet.   :002:

I ordered the Tractive cartridge for my 2020 F850GSA from Teds beamer shop adjusted for my weight. I installed it at home and so far its made a damn good difference on the road. The fork dive is much less and feels planted. I plan on doing some two track and old mine roads later this month to test it out! So far its worth it!

I have a new 2021 F850 GSA, and the first time I hit the brakes hard and the bike nose-dived I knew I would do something. (I believe BMW outsourced their front end design to Kawasaki, who just sent back their first gen KLR650 suspension.)  I just picked up and installed the Tractive cartridge from Beemershop, and the bike immediately felt better on the twisting roads in the coastal mountains where I live. haven't tried it off road yet.
