Have to check which I have but anyway, I've never tried, can you download someone's track/route 's to it?

Pretty much functions just like any Garmin GPS. You can load them on an SD card or use the Garmin software on a PC to load them.

I've never done it on any of them, but if it will do it I'll start learning, thanks.

That is how our club http://www.newswedenbmwriders.com/ runs our New Sweden 450 two day every year. The route is made up using base camp and once you pay your entry fee the route is E-mailed to you to load into your GPS. If you don't know how to do this they will load it for you at the start. Once you load it and start the route you get not only a highlighted route one the screen but if you have Bluetooth in your helmet you get spoken prompts for turns, etc.

I use an app called Myroute-app.com to do my routing for longer trips. I did one for our June trip on Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway which I am in the process of fine tuning now to add points of interest that we may like to stop at.
I don't know where we are... but I have been lost here before...

Yes it's fairly easy using basecamp to import and export files.

With the NAV VI you can even send tracks and routes to other units via bluetooth.

Cheers

Press up and hold on the left handgrip menu button to switch from the TFT to the GPS.
