Enduro pro mode
« on: February 13, 2020, 02:19:40 AM »
Hello all, I purchased my new 2020 f850 gs a week ago and have been enjoying it very much. I like to ride in more difficult/gnarly terrain and I've pretty much been keeping the bike in dynamic mode with abs and traction control off. I was wondering if there was a way for me to acess enduro pro mode (base options for the most part). If not, no big deal, perfectly content with how it performs currently. Thank you

If you purchased new you should have got a dongle/plug that plugs into the socket under your seat, this enables what you are looking for providing you have the spec for it, I think they call it 'Rider modes pro' or something like that, I have it on mine.

Would you mind showing a photo of the dongle and plug under the seat? Thank you

I dont see that on my bike, is it possible that it is an option only for bikes equipped with the electronic shock?

Yes... unless you have the full electronics package (shock, TFT, etc) you don't have the plug.
I don't know where we are... but I have been lost here before...

I have the non ESA model with lowered suspension (short legs lol) and mine has the plug. The plug in module was in the same plastic as my owners manual. They would not install on mine until after break in. It is fairly simple to install yourself.

Very happy to hear. Is anyone able to check resistance through the red jumper? Mine will take a few weeks to come in but if it is a straight jumper, I wouldn't mind bypassing it. Not sure if there's a resistor in there or straight wired. Thanks
