Front Brake micro switch ?

I was on an assessment on my F850GS 2020 and my assessor kept telling me to use my front brake in certain situations.
I was applying my front brake gently to slow down gently.
When we stopped it appeared that my brake light came on fine if i applied my brake fully with the front lever but when feathering it never came on.
I only have to breath on my rear peddle and the light comes on fine.

Is there an adjustment that can be made to the microswitch ? Does anyone have an exploded view diagram of the front brake lever area ?
It would be easier for me to take a look rather than take it back to the main dealers.

It is probably a pressure switch on the ABS pump.
