Hardknott pass, Cumbria.
« on: February 27, 2019, 05:59:15 PM »
Today I seized some slack time at work and rode Hardknott pass in the lake district with a friend. The weather was glorious. Particularly for February.
The 850GS must have been impressive. The locals flocked to view it.
If it aint broke, keep fixing it until it is!

You are correct. I spoke with the shepherdess driving the flock of sheep. She described being cut off by snow for ten days in February 2018.
You wouldn't believe such events took place the same week last year to the day these photo's are taken.
