Looking at the video, the Remus only seems to remove the big euro-box from the bike. Is the cat not further forward, behind the heat shield?

Spot on, noticed the same when I fitted the bash plate. I look forward to see what can be made by your exhaust manufacturer.

Hi Yes still popping and rocking but a little louder BMW music.

Great work on the exhaust. Also interested to know what bar risers you have fitted. Any problems with cables etc

Yep it really does, its a 100% improvement and even sounds much better than the video suggest, its gone from sounding like a moped to a motorbike, I remember my first test ride ride I thought this bike is fking brilliant apart from the screen and crap sound. those two was easily fixed for someone determined like me, im well happy.

Fill Ya Boots - what is in the box you removed, some baffles that act as a pre silencer?

Not a de-cat, but similar to the fill ya boots system, eliminates the exhaust silencer box. Far cheaper than the Remus option.
I had one of this company's exhausts on my K1200S and found the manufacture and sound quality to be excellent.

My 850GS is booked for 17th May as a mule for fabricating at Fuel exhausts in Cumbria. Full details to follow.
