    Wandering front

    Hello Guys and Girls,

My first post so please bear with me. My 2019 850gsa (had it 10 months but low miles due to lockdown). It’s fitted with Bridgestones, good tread and pressures, the front is very skittish and follows ANY road undulations. The motorists behind must think I’ve had a few! Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

    Ps. The headstock is OK

I suspect that your front tire is worn and the bike starts "tram tracking"

Indeed if your tyre is worn it will track, but also what previous bikes are you used to?

Thought i'd ask as the skinny front tyre on the 850Gs helps with off road usability but will always track more than many other bikes on the road that typically have between 100-120 wide profile front tyres

Did you buy the bike new? While I agree that this model does "like" to track, especially on worn knobbies, I am wondering if your forks are not bent.
