So after some research - speaking to some folk and availability I opted for the Continental Trail Attack 3's - I'll never do anything more than light green lanes and will spend most of my time on tarmac. Just back from marshalling a major cycling event (1500 miles over 7 days). Wow! what a difference over the OEM (Bridgestone A41's) rode in all sorts of conditions on all sorts of roads at a 'variety' of speeds - can't speak highly enough of the tyres, interestingly somebody else had changed to the Continental's on an almost new 1250 GS, they had a very similar story to tell.
    Hope that helps
    Cheers

    Hiya Folks
As promised here is my review on the Dunlop Meridians. Brilliant tyres IMO.
