Yeah, exactly the same behavior with my 850gs. I thought it was a sticky cable as, when you release the clutch and then pull the lever back several times quickly, you can feel the 'slack' on the lever getting progressively less over 2-3 seconds.

I don't get the 'click' every time, only now and then, which is worse really. You don't really get used to it!

Yes mines the same. Feels like a toy gun click. Think itís something you need to get used too.

I think so by unplugging at the sensor on the gear lever , though I don't know what side effect this will have on the bike warnings etc . or even if it is wise to do so ?  :005:

Can I ask why ? Why not just 'not use it' and change gear normally.

I edited the same thing before posting the reply 😳but thought that wasnít the question .
Personally when mine decides itís not playing I just change with clutch or Rev match if Iím feeling frisky 🤣
You would have to remove it though if you wanted to fit a healtech or similar .
