MRA vario windscreen
« on: August 11, 2021, 12:59:29 AM »
I bought an F850GS in the spring and a buddy of mine and I just did our first trip.  We rode 3300 kms round trip from the Toronto area to James Bay, Quebec.  Although I was appreciative of several pieces of kit Id purchased, I think my MRA windscreen was one of the best.   If Id done that with the stock screen, my level of exhaustion would have been far greater.  On our way home, we did 989 kms in one day and most of that was in torrential downpours.   I really dont know if Id have been able to keep that pace up with the stock screen.  Its always nice when you take a shot in the dark and you hit a bullseye!

Just Installed mine today. I've had the MRA Vario touring screen on other bikes too. Great screens.

Always a biker forever.

Yes , not too keen on the clear one and absolutely hate black screens (not that MRA do one anyway).  :002: :002:

I've got the MRA on my DL650 and really like it. I drilled new hole in a spare MRA I had to fit on the 750GS. It worked rather well. But I thought I get the MRA designed for the 750. It's clear and the shape of the screen does a warp number on the view through it. The tinted shield may have been the way to go and avoid the distorted view through the screen. There isn't too much difference between the MRA for the DL650 and the one designed for the 750. I could saved $139 buck-o's and used the one I had. Oh, well!

One up man ship, Mike.
I went batsh#t and looked up the yellow Wundelich crash bars. They should be on the way by the end of the day.  :008:

Mike, Luddite here. I just finally got rid of my flip phone and got the regular do it all phone. I have no problem with the picture taking, it's the posting that will give me nightmares. Got my confirmation email today that the order has been shipped.
