My new ride and add on's
« on: May 04, 2021, 12:33:43 AM »
Been many years since having a bike and was super pleased to find non current new bike!  Have added WRS windscreen,  BMW aux lights,  BMW aluminum skid plate,  Outback bars,  Tank bag, saddle bags for everyday trips (had in stock and made up mount and straps),   touratech levers.
Got first 1100 km on it and just finished first service and oil change after finding oil filter wrench to fit it!

Those Polaris bags look good on there they follow the lines of the bike quite well...
I don't know where we are... but I have been lost here before...

Thanks...I had been looking for a while for something small but able to carry everyday stuff...then looked in my own garage.....Lol.  Made nice bracket that I attached to rear of them that just slides under the stock carrier that comes on the bike.  Quick and secure.

Very cool ride! I 3D printed an oil wrench/cover, cheap and effective!

As for the fear of falling...learn to love and cherish the experience. You want it. You need it. You can't wait for the next hit.

I have also turned GPS 180 degrees so that it moved it towards the TFT and allowed easy view over the tank bag.  (This is not ideal location IMO, but better,  as it should really be above TFT but I will source a bracket for that over time.)
